The Beauties

Had a relaxing dinner with my "Sisters" last night. It is getting more and more difficult for us to meet, even for a simple dinner, especially after San-jie became a TowkayNeo.

During dinner, we are chatting and counting how long we have know each other. We first met on San-jie's 20th birthday, and that was March 1983, at Little Red House Seafood Centre, Upper East Coast Road. So to today we should have know each other for 24 years!!! Wow, cannot imaging we have been sticking around each other for that long. We have seen each other thru our dating days, attended each other's weddings, carrying our babies, bringing the kids for outings, talking about our children, and now thru divorces.

We are not "Sisters" by birth, but we are sisters by blood and love, 结拜姐妹, and we call ourselves "The Beauties", and we have a "JieMei Day" which is 1 Sept, and every year we will all buy each of us one same gift, so you must know how many items have now.

So when we started to msn, Da-jie's email address is BeautyChoo, Er-jie's is Snoopysecond, San-jie's is Beautygrace, so as the youngest, I am xiao-mei, and so this is how xiaomeiren came about. We used to have a Si-Jie, but she has gone MIA for many years... Sad...

We used to meet very frequently, sometimes twice a week, but recently, everyone is busy, and meeting is getting more and more difficult. But no matter wat, there is always time for our sisters bonding... Three Cheers to The Beauties!!!
